My morning run

Pequeño elogio del running: ruta tranquila junto al río y cómo el cuerpo lo agradece.

I run three days a week, before work. I start at seven in the morning. The streets are empty and the air is cool. I do not run very fast. I run for thirty minutes, around five kilometres. My favourite route is along the river. There are some ducks, a few cats, and one old man who walks his dog every morning. We always say hello. Running is not always easy. Some days I feel tired, and I want to stay in bed. But after the run, I always feel better. I have more energy for the day. I do not need fancy clothes. I have one pair of running shoes and some comfortable trousers. The most important thing is to start. After ten minutes, your body says thank you.
