Some vs any

La regla

some en frases afirmativas y ofertas; any en negativas y preguntas.

"Use some in affirmative sentences and polite offers; use any in negatives and questions."

some y any se usan con plurales e incontables cuando la cantidad es indefinida (algunos, algo de). En afirmativas se usa some: "I have some questions". En negativas e interrogativas se usa any: "I don't have any questions", "Do you have any questions?". Excepcion: en ofertas y peticiones educadas usamos some aunque sea pregunta: "Would you like some coffee?".

En español "no tengo preguntas" funciona, pero en inglés necesitas don't + any.

Pregunta neutra -> any. (Con tono de oferta también vale some, pero por defecto en preguntas usa any.)
