much / many / a lot of

"many + countable, much + uncountable, a lot of + both."

La regla

many + contables, much + incontables, a lot of + ambos.

"many" se usa con sustantivos contables ("many books, many meetings") y "much" con incontables ("much time, much money"). En frases afirmativas modernas se prefiere "a lot of" para ambos porque suena natural: "I have a lot of work". "Much" y "many" se usan sobre todo en preguntas y negaciones ("Do you have much time?", "I don't have many friends"). El error tipico es "many money": dinero es incontable, va con much o a lot of.
