Pronombres de objeto: me, you, him, her, it, us, them
La regla
Los pronombres de objeto sustituyen al complemento, no al sujeto.
"Object pronouns replace the object, not the subject."
Cada pronombre sujeto tiene su pareja de objeto: I/me, you/you, he/him, she/her, it/it, we/us, they/them. Van DESPUES del verbo o de una preposicion: "I see him", "She works with us". El error tipico del hispanohablante es usar el de sujeto en posicion de objeto ("Him is my friend" en vez de "He is my friend") o al reves. También aparecen tras preposiciones ("to me", "with them", "for her"), nunca el de sujeto.

Trampas hispanohablantes
En posicion de sujeto se usa he, no him.
Tras el verbo va el pronombre de objeto: me.
Tras preposicion siempre objeto: with me.
Tras "between" se usa el pronombre objeto, aunque suene formal con I.
