Preguntas yes/no: Do, Does, Are, Is, Can

"Auxiliary first + subject + verb. Short answer reuses the auxiliary."

La regla

Auxiliar al inicio + sujeto + verbo. Respuesta corta repite el auxiliar.

Las preguntas de sí/no en inglés SIEMPRE invierten el auxiliar al principio: "Do you work here?", "Are you ready?", "Can you help?". La respuesta corta repite el mismo auxiliar: "Yes, I do", "No, I'm not", "Yes, I can". El error más extendido del hispanohablante es preguntar con entonacion sin invertir ("You work here?"), lo cual suena informal y a veces brusco en contexto laboral. En registro neutro hay que invertir.

"Work" es verbo normal: necesita do, no are.

La respuesta corta repite el auxiliar (do), no el verbo.

"You" no lleva does, lleva do. Does es solo para he/she/it.
